Squirrel Evidence

I never buy peanuts in their shells. I don't really like shelling them - except at baseball games. And yet - this appeared on the deck banister today...

And then later in the day when I left to go to my mom's...

It's more evidence the squirrel is stalking us. Where is he getting these peanuts? Is he going to minor league baseball games? I guess more likely someone is feeding him. They don't realize that he leaves the shells on our deck and then buries the peanuts in my potted plants. Oh well.

Did some holiday baking tonight also - chocolate (white and dark) covered marshmallows and pretzels.

Yummy! They're presents for co-workers to go with their cards.

I'm working on a few more CKFOP (Christmas Knitting for other People as coined by the JenLa sight) objects that I'll post pics of soon. There's a hat/mitten set in tape type yarn, a fuzzy black scarf, a ribbon scarf, a mohair ribbed scarf, and some mittens with fuzzy cuffs. There's also my clogs - of which I have nothing done. And I meet with the group this week, so I have to get a move on!

Back to work tomorrow unless I decide to take my car into the shop. It's beeping at me, which makes me think I should take it in and go to work late. I feel like an ass going into work late on one of my last days working there...but I'd be late anyway if my car broke down!

Okay - back to the clogs...

chocolate covered marshmallows. That sounds so good.I usually make something for people every year for christmas, not food related because I am a pretty inexperienced cook but things like framed pictures of them I have taken or like last year I made a family cookbook with each family members "special" recipe and the memories I had behind the particular food.It went over really well except I was falling asleep through Christmas due to making all 30 of them the night before.I think I had got 1.5 hours sleep the night before Christmas eve.It was fun to watch everyone's reaction though.I was so tired I passed up making myself or my mom one she has bugged me about her copy at least once a month.Funny how I can make 30 copies one night yet do not have the ambition to make my mom one within a year.

I've officially decided I hate Blogger. (No offense.) Why does it have to be such a big deal to sign in for non-Blogger users?! Grrr...

I just wanted to be the second Stacey to say "Mmmm" to chocolate covered marshmallows :)

Look at it this way, you never have to set up a profile again since you just did! Thanks for going through the hassle just to leave a comment! It makes me feel loved!

Those pretzels look damn good. Do you think if I eat a Hershey kiss and a cheese filled combo at the same time it will be as good? (that's all we've got around my office and I want a chocolate covered pretzel SO badly now)
